Stephen Musya has over 14 years' experience in the not-for profit sector focusing on Leadership strategy, Resource Mobilization and project coordination. His career reflects a passion for the promotion of access and inclusion for marginalized and disadvantaged groups, especially women and girls cancer patient. In his role with Nyeri Hospice , he continues to Champion collaboration with communities which draws on Local knowledge to find innovative and effective ways to increase access to palliative care. Stephen was previously project coordinator and Resource Manager at KHP. He also worked in Papua New Guinea and philippines where he sucessfully turned round programme through aggressive resource Mobilization and strategic leadership. Stephen holds Bachelor's degree in Education and Philosopy from Catholic University of Easthern Africa, Masters in Resource Management and Bachelolor's degree in sociology and Theology from Universita Ponticia SalesianaRoma.
Eunice is a kenya Registered Community Health Nurse. She sees the smooth running of running of the organization. She has 18 years experience in nursing and 5 years experience in Palliative Care. She holds higher diploma in psychological counseling (Kenya Institute of Professional Counseling). She has certificates in Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission, Stress Management, Basic Life Support and other courses in Leadership and Governance. She holds a higher Diploma in Palliative Care (Oxford Brookes University-UK). She is currently pursuing a Bachelor degree in psychological Counseling.
Rose is the Administration and Finance Officer. She has 15 years experience in Accounting, administration and marketing functions. At the Nyeri Hospice, she is involved in marketing, fundraising, event organization, financial management, human resource management and communication coordination. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration (Finance Option) Diploma in accounts and CPA. She also holds certificate in computer packages and other short course like; Management, Guidance & Counselling .
Johnson Ritho joined Nyeri Hospice in 2007 after completion of a Diploma in social work and community development. He is the clinical para-Legal officer and holds certificate in palliative care, induction training on Disability Awareness by Through the Roof international and certificate in community para-legal. He also holds a Higher Diploma in palliative care (Oxford Brookes University)
Susan is the Front Office Assistant. She has ten (10) years experience in Customer Care,Front Office operations and administration. She holds Diploma in Business Management (Kenya Institute of Management), certificate in Management for Administrative Secretaries (CORAT AFRICA) and a certificate in Effective Customer Service from Mission For Essential Drugs and supplies (MEDS). She has certificates in website designing & editing ,computer applications and volunteership.
